About this event

INVITATION TO THE PITLOCHRY CONVERSATION

COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN

The pandemic has hit Pitlochry quite hard but as we start to come out of the Covid winter the community has a wonderful opportunity to think about the future.

Guided by the good officers of STAR Development everyone will have a chance to think about how the town might look in the short- and medium-terms. The opportunity exists to share our hopes and dreams about our town’s future. What is important to you? What changes might make life better?

How could we make it work? A big conversation might lead to a Community Action Plan (“CAP”). The CAP will be a great tool to progress ideas.

The CAP process will allow us to continue the conversation and to make small changes whilst bigger ideas are developed. The CAP will help bring some financial help to our community and allow funds to be spent under agreed priorities. The CAP will encompass concerns, aspirations and priorities and will be a vehicle to drive Pitlochry improvements.

This is the first meeting and likely to be more.  Please register your interest for future dates with  RuralLeader@pkc.gov.uk.

Please join STAR Development and Colin Roxburgh on Thursday 27 May at 7.00pm for the initial information and background on the benefits which CAPs have brought to communities across Scotland and how the communities have successfully produced and implemented their plans.
