Remote learning – Monday 21 October 2024
I hope you have had a lovely holiday. Please find a list of home learning tasks for today. The tasks can be completed in any order, at a time of your choosing. Please take photos of completed tasks, if possible.
Task 1
Literacy
Draw a picture and write sentences about something you have enjoyed this holiday. It could be an outing you have been on, an activity you have done, time spent with others or a program or game you have enjoyed.
Task 2
Maths
Choose from one of the Place Value games on Topmarks to practise your numbers.
Learn to Count with fun Counting Games for KS1 Children (topmarks.co.uk)
Task 3
Signs of Autumn.
Go for a walk, look for signs of Autumn and collect colourful Autumn leaves.
or
Create an Autumn picture using Autumnal colours.
Task 4
Play
Use play equipment, folded paper or loose parts (e.g. cardboard boxes) to build the tallest tower you can.
Task 5
Story
Choose one of the stories from the Storyline website to listen to or read a book of your own.
This week the class have been developing their digital skills. They were uploading photos and editing font and backgrounds.
Primary 3 have been learning about Celtic artefacts and they used modelling clay to create their own Celtic torcs.
