Community engagement on rural transport: to hear from children, young people and families
Further to community engagement on transport needs, challenges and solutions across rural communities in Perth & Kinross earlier this year, a Rural Transport Futures team are returning to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry to work with local groups and organisations, to hear more about local transport needs, challenges and solutions for children, young people and families in Highland Perthshire; followed by a focus on health and transport next month.
Community drop in engagement sessions will start next Wednesday (21 August 2024) and continue into September, at Breadalbane Community Library and Pitlochry Community Library - open to all who would like to contribute.

More information can be found on www.ruraltransportfutures.scot - where there will also be an online survey.
This work has been extended to hear more from younger people across the community and then to focus on health and transport challenges, in collaboration with Tay Valley Connections, Perth & Kinross Council and partners involved in the Innovate UK project. Find out more about that project here: https://www.pkclimateaction.co.uk/IUK
If representatives of a group would like to be involved in a round table chat about the needs, challenges and potential solutions for transport in the area - please get in touch with Lindsey Reid on lindsey@ruraltransportfutures.scot to advise. We would be most grateful to hear from you. This round table is likely to be held at 6 pm on Wednesday 4 September in Aberfeldy.
If you would like to have a chat directly or have any questions ahead of the events, please get in touch on info@ruraltransportfutures.scot
